My role is breakfast chef. I cook a buffet breakfast of 9 items and make sure the buffet is always stocked up for guests. I also prepare and set up the kitchen and work on the main line after breakfast
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my course it taught me a lot and made me think outside the box a lot more about how a kitchen works

I have learnt a lot more about nutrition and allergens, I have also improved me knowledge around legislation

It’s very organised the way that it’s separated into different sections so that you can focus on one bit at and time and take everything in

I received some support from my employer however as a lot of more course was done in lockdown it was difficult for them to support me through out of lot of my course

I received a lot of support from my trainer they were always willing to help and guide me in all aspects of my course

I feel that I will be able to be a lot more confident in my role as I understand a lot more about my business and how certain task affect the business and team around me and feel I will now be a better rounded employee
