By doing this course I have learnt to hone my managerial style and personalise it to each member of staff and the team as a whole to ensure the most effective service is given. Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Greene King to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The working relationships between manager and staff are well maintained and are built on mutual trust and respect. A work life balance is a top priority for the company and the managers within showing that staff are valued and making sure they are not overworked. Benefits given are good with a hefty discount on meals and drinks for staff. My own business was a great place to work and the colleagues were a family not just work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
Go in with an open mind, take all the chances for development they give you as it will give you valuable skills whether you are looking for a career in hospitality or not. The skills gained are transferable to a wide range of industries and jobs. The work is hard and you need to be ready for that as although you are given respite when you are working it’s long and you are dealing with the public which can be difficult.
