Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Started at 10AM and finished at 5PM for 3 days from the 23rd March to the 25th March. We engaged with current graduate and director Q&A's, did a group work project with other insight students and then presented this, we had many talk for all the different areas within Savills and learnt about what the options are for us in the future, regarding APC and the route we can take.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I found this very interesting as before I applied and took part in the insight programme I didn't really know what all the specific areas where. This insight has meant that I am closer to knowing what area of real estate that I would like to work in. It also amazed me how diverse the range of roles available are.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The overall atmosphere was very welcoming and felt very relaxed. Everyone seemed to be engaged and especially engaged when doing the group project.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight, it was definitely different having it online but I do think that it was the best that it could be. I enjoyed hearing about all the different roles that are available and hearing about all of the opportunities to work abroad. It was also nice to learn about the APC as I now understand what it entails.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would suggest to others that make sure you have a passionate interest in real estate, as this makes the whole experience a lot more interesting. Also, do a but of research before so that you have a rough idea of the business and the sections which they offer.
