Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was given multiple projects throughout the year that focused on assessing the impacts of legislation in different markets. I had to review the legislation present, determine what obligations/ requirements the company would need to fulfil to enable market access and then implement a process to support this.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given lots of responsibility on placement, but was always supported if needed. I was given my own projects to run from day one, and was asked to complete as-hoc requests as needed throughout the year which I was in charge of completing.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learnt new skills in how to review legislation, I had no previous legal experience before this placement year. I have also developed my skills on excel to create more complex working tools on excel using more complex calculations. I have also learnt how to use Power Bi this year to analyse data and create custom reports.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was given lots of support during my placement. I had access to multiple training materials during the year to upskill myself on any key topics, but I was also given various in house training sessions. For each project I ran, i had a key point of contact if needed, who would answer any questions/ queries quickly or direct me to someone who could help further.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture seemed good. I was on placement during covid, so there were fewer clubs and activities on offer, but in normal times there is lots of company and department wide event available.
