Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

I carried out of comparable evidence using rightmove and also by calling other agents from different companies. I then used these to price the buildings that I was valuing, I used Argus to then create Development appraisals for the subjects that I was valuing

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was really helpful to gain first hand experience of exactly what day to day life would be like working in this team, I was given significant responsibility so my experience was very reflective of the real life role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My communication skills have improved as I have had to make phone calls to many different people, there was a very big mix pf people who wanted to help and people who would not give me the time of day. Thanks to being able to come into the office, I have developed my team working skills and learnt how people work together within teams

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Really great, due to the fact we were all in the office, every one gets on really well, it is very social and everyone is always using different people for advice and help, its really nice to be part of such a collaberative team.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed my experience overall, everyone in my team has been so helpful and spent their valuable time guiding me which they did not have to do, i felt like everyone was really trying to help me get the most out of my experience
