Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Dynamic role with the opportunity to take the role in your own direction. For me, I found a gap in the team which was process digitalisation. I took this upon myself to try to digitalize some of the customer journeys and documents used. In terms of day to day activities as well, lots included: data analysis, project management, customer service, marketing, content creation, inter-departmental communication, CRM navigation and event logistics.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I had the freedom to take on my own projects and push through them throughout the year. Took on responsibility of different engineers and their workloads as well as day to day jobs which I was 'owner' of.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Lots of support from my department and teams across the business. Worked on projects with the technical department, marketing and product management departments who all were happy to help and giver advice according to their job roles and expertise.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
A really positive environment to work in. All the staff are so friendly and I never felt nervous to contact or speak to anyone in the business. Everyone is there to offer advice and help, it really is a family feel. Even speaking to colleagues higher up in the business (CEO's and CFO's), they're very supportive and happy to have a catch up.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement experience - there is nothing more I would wish for during my experience. Being able to apply my studies at university into a real world environment has helped me massively. I have developed both my professional and personal skills and have built connections all across the workplace.
