Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Planning and communicating loads based off stock positions to merchant customers. Actively analysing merchants buying patterns to help provide a cohesive supply chain.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes there is lots of opportunity to effect change and is actively encouraged by the company. It isn't forced so you have to take the initiative yourself initially but there is plenty of support in progressing projects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture is welcoming and a very friendly place to work, sometimes getting people to adapt to new ways of doing things can be challenging as there hasn't been enough process improvement and digitalization in the recent years of the company.
