An appropriate amount. My supervisors have let me explore the field and did not micro-manage my work but also provided support when asked and sometimes pro-actively.

The atmosphere within the team I worked in was fantastic. It genuinely felt like people were clever and very driven and that the research was meaningful and interesting. People are also very open to questions and providing help.

I enjoyed the placement a great deal. I feel that I learned a significant amount and the work environment within the team was excellent.
