Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
With the internship being held virtually, no experience was lost since much of the company already works in this way. Working 9-5 on a project I really cared about with experts in the field really helped me develop my skills throughout the internship. I can leave the internship knowing I have accomplished a lot within the company, but also taking away skills for life. There were also many sessions held to show other aspects of the company.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Before my internship started, I was regularly contacted by the Graduate recruiters about my internship. Closer to the start, I was contacted by 2 previous graduates within the company about their experiences. Then the department welcomed me extremely well.

To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
I thoroughly enjoyed my entire internship experience. I was welcomed within my team, felt included and everyone was extremely approachable. I was greeted by the Directors and department managers, showing that they take a lot of pride in their interns.
