Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Every morning we were given an overview of the days activities. We then had various presentations from member of different departments, giving us an insight into what they do. We were always given the opportunity to ask questions which were always thoroughly answered. Every day finished with group work on set presentations. These were presented to a panel of judges on the final day.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
This insight programme really opened my eyes wider to a sector I was already extremely interested in. The diversity and opportunities surrounding property are endless and the programme gave me a great insight and motivation to reach my goals and get a job in this sector, wherever that may be.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I feel like I have developed my confidence in talking over video calls. This also helped me to improve how I work within a group over video conferencing, being able to work together and cohesively bring together a presentation.

How would you rate business leader involvement during the insight

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Throughout the programme employees would really highlight the Savills culture, and this reflected in all the presentations and overviews given. I was instantly made to feel very comfortable and like I could ask any question and get involved. Even when talking to members who had senior positions, you weren't talked down to and this made me feel very welcome and comfortable in the programme.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed this insight. It has made me realise that Savills is a company and culture I want to become a part of. I felt comfortable, informed and very excited about what we leant in these few days. I hope to get future opportunities like this in the near future.

Do it!!! The application process was detailed but well worth the effort. Any experience is great to put on your CV and with Savills you can really gain a true understanding across the whole real estate sector.
