Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Attended WTW’s two-day virtual insight programme exploring business areas like Investments, Risk, and CRB. Took part in problem-solving and client excellence workshops, heard from senior leaders, and networked with graduates and professionals across seven different lines of business during the Mini Careers Fair. Sessions also included personal branding, interview preparation, and group activities.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was eye-opening to see how broad WTW’s business is and how each Line of Business plays a different role in supporting clients. Speaking with people across teams helped me understand where my strengths could fit and what the day-to-day actually looks like in different roles.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture felt supportive, inclusive, and down-to-earth. Everyone I spoke with was approachable and open to questions, which made it easy to engage and learn. It gave the impression of a collaborative environment where people are genuinely valued.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight. It was well-structured, engaging, and gave me a clear picture of the people, culture, and opportunities at WTW. The variety of sessions kept it interesting, and I appreciated how interactive it was throughout.

Take time to research the different Lines of Business so you can speak confidently about where your interests lie. Be yourself during networking as the culture is approachable and people value genuine curiosity. Also, engage actively in sessions; it shows interest and helps you get the most out of the experience.
