Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight featured departmental talks outlining their roles and function within the business itself. There were also a variety of virtual Q&A sessions and group exercises in order to develop our knowledge and network as students hoping to progress into the field of surveying or any area surrounding it.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was as the name of the scheme suggests - Insightful. It was great to hear from individuals within the business giving a first-hand example of what their roles really entail.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes, I have learnt more about Savills as a business. I have come to understand the wide range of sectors they cover as well as have interests in.
I feel it has helped me understand and identify those areas I think my personal interests and attributes will work well with whilst also doing the same in identifying those that I maybe don't see being quite for me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The placement itself was virtual so it was harder to tell, however, from previous work experience at Savills I know that the culture and atmosphere are excellent.
