Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involved regular stakeholder engagement, especially with suppliers. Internally I had to communicate sustainability progress and help upskill the procurement team. I had to utilise software such as Power BI Apps to track and monitor carbon data and utilise AI in risk management.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I was given a lot of autonomy and responsibility to manage tasks and projects. Support was always there if needed.

What advice would you give to others applying to Siemens
Do research around the role: why do you like it, why the company etc.... In interviews use the STAR technique to help structure answers this prevents waffle and keeps it straight to the point. In video submission in application process make sure you present yourself in a professional manner and prepare.
