Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Manage / input orders. Responsibility of inputting and ensuring that parts are delivered are my own. Daily I am review trackers , chase up plants and inform suppliers about delivery dates.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes , I was given responsibility in my own projects and certain responsibilities that I took on. I have ownership of trackers and which hold key information regarding dates of shipment. Projects which I took on required me to develop excels which were later used to present to management levels, this happened on numerous times.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I am now more proficient on Microsoft tools additionally have exposure to SAP and internal ordering systems. The role requires quick adaptation of these tools.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
My placement team at my university provided great support from getting the placement , giving us access to many tools to help hone our interviewing skills and make us stand out in the recruitment stages.Support during placement was excellent as well , their years of experience was reassuring to me, while I was navigating my first corporate job. They provided helpful and practical advice which I will take with me and my future career.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Bosch is a very supportive environment. Colleagues are patient and understanding and are willing to take their time to help. A very welcoming environment with plenty of opportunity to try new things and get the necessary support to do so.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed my Placement a lot. I would say it was one of my favourite years of my course. The company and its culture made it easy to fell welcomed. the role itself was very rewarding as well.

What advice would you give to others applying to Bosch Group
I would advise that applicants research the company different divisions and try and understand its business model. Bosch has many divisions and its can be overwhelming to look at it initially.
