Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The placement is 3 days online. It involved listening to different experiences within Savills and attending departmental talks. Also, a group project in breakout rooms to work as a team to produce a presentation that will be presented to a panel of senior members in the company. It's a great chance to network with graduates and directors, to ask questions and understand the culture and work at Savills. Lastly, a LinkedIn/Social media challenge.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was extremely insightful in learning about departments that were not familiar to myself. The business offers many opportunities for career progression from student to graduate to accelerating a career within Savills.

Expanding my confidence skills when networking and talking to graduates and directors. Also, teamwork skill to organise and plan a good presentation. Listening skills to understand the culture at Savills and understanding each departments role in the company.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] did a great job organising the virtual placement being very welcoming to us all. The directors, graduates and other staff continuously praised the sense of community, family and friendliness within the workplace. The company culture from what it seems to be very welcoming, inclusive and friendly.

To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
I enjoyed the virtual experience very much. there was plentiful opportunities to learn about the business and be interactive with Savills employees and our peers. It was very thought out and organised and run very well.
