Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Everyday was different but I continued to assist with day to day engineering and generating electronic trackers to be able to assist the departments with effective task and activity management. Understanding different regulations and processes is essential.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was treated as any other member of the team and was constantly be given more responsibilities and as I grew into the role more, I was given and trusted more with different responsibilities.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have developed skills such as Excel and self confidence but I was also exposed to a range of new software such as SAP CAMS, JIRA, Confluence, DOORS and more which helped develop my professional understanding

Placement managers were really supportive and in the business I was thoroughly supported. However early careers could have been more adaptive and supportive
