As a Communications IP Specialist at GSK, you will be responsible for developing and delivering clear, impactful communications related to the company’s intellectual property. Collaborating with legal, R&D, and corporate teams, you will ensure consistent messaging that protects proprietary assets and promotes innovation. This role involves translating complex IP concepts into accessible content, supporting training initiatives, and enhancing organizational awareness of intellectual property risks and opportunities. With a focus on confidentiality and cross-functional collaboration, you will play a key role in safeguarding GSK’s intellectual property while strengthening its reputation as a leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

Over the course of my role, I have developed and refined several key skills that are essential to both personal and professional growth. My ability to work effectively within a team has significantly improved, as I’ve collaborated with cross-functional teams including legal, R&D, and corporate communications to achieve shared objectives. This has enhanced my interpersonal and communication skills, allowing me to navigate different perspectives and drive projects forward seamlessly.
I have also honed my organizational skills, ensuring that complex projects are managed efficiently and deadlines are consistently met. By prioritizing tasks, streamlining workflows, and maintaining attention to detail, I have been able to keep multiple priorities on track without compromising quality.
Additionally, working in a fast-paced environment has strengthened my ability to perform under pressure. Whether it's responding to urgent requests, managing tight timelines, or addressing unexpected challenges, I’ve learned to remain composed and solution-focused. These experiences have helped me build resilience and adaptability, enabling me to thrive in demanding situations while delivering results that align with GSK’s standards of excellence.
