Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Network Capacity management, optical analysis and generation of work documents that go to field engineers to carry out upgrades of existing network and help with the roll out of new networks

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I have been doing meaningful work for my team since the first day I started at the company, I feel like a full time employee not just an intern

Lots of soft work places skills, have used excel a lot while here as well as a lot of in-house software that has transferable skills. This will benefit me greatly upon returning to Uni

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Incredible, I have had an unbelievable time working for VMO2 this year, the people are great and you will also develop a close relationship with your fellow interns and grads
