Actioning sales orders, liasing with internal customers, reviewing data. Responsible for reporting metrics within a team and involved in cross-functional projects.

Yes I was given responsibility of my standard work, mini-projects and the opportunity to represent my team in larger projects.

I have learnt meeting etiquette, new excel skills and gained technical skills within the supply chain. I have also improved my team work, using my initiative and communication skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture embraced diversity and put employee safety at the forefront. The atmosphere was on the whole enjoyable, with inevitable rocky periods when difficult conversations arose, but in these times respect for people was always prevalent.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, the initial few months where you are learning your role are always harder, but after this with the skills to succeed I got the most out of my role.
