Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I work on Verification on the PDS system at GE. I draft, review and test written procedures to ensure that it complies with the requirements that the design team and customer have made for the PDS system

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a lot of responsibility but not too much to drain me. If it got tiring or stressful, my team would always help to allow me to progress and still feel valued in the team

I was given a lot of support from my team, my tech and my supervisor lead during this placement. They always looked out for me and made sure i am happy with the work i do and if i am comfortable in the office

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was a very kind and respectful atmosphere. People were always kind and allowed everyone to feel comfortable with their thoughts and no one felt shut down from me or my team.
