Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Across the two days, we engaged in interactive talks, workshops, and networking sessions focusing on areas such as Finance, Disputes, Corporate, ENRI, MIG, and Fuse.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting learning practice areas I would be able to qualify into as a trainee and the experiences of trainees from my trainee buddy.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I developed my commercial awareness, particularly through the 'How Do I Use Commercial Awareness as a First Seat Trainee?' session. I also strengthened my communication skills by networking with other first-year students, lawyers, and graduate recruitment.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Even from my first event with the firm in Year 13, the culture and atmosphere of the firm seemed very diverse and welcoming, especially because of how nice the trainees and graduate recruitment were.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I most enjoyed the Fuse session which demonstrated A&OS' work with start ups and AI technologies to improve workflows for lawyers.
