Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On Tuesday we had a session with MindGym on Networking. On Wednesday we had a session on Valuation Techniques. On Thursday we had a session on reading the FT, and talks with various divisions of the GB.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I was able to get a very good understanding on the different divisions, especially those like LCM and corporate brokerage, which I wasn’t familiar with previously.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes. I have learned the importance of not being afraid to ask questions and being curious. I also learnt to have an open mind about what area I want to potentially go into. I also learned about the importance of collaboration and getting to know the other peers in my cohort.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
BNP clearly fosters a very good culture and heavily invest in their people. Overall there is a very positive atmosphere of growth and collaboration, even across-division. It was also very insightful and enriching to learn about initiatives like Women in GB, showing how BNP really stives to create an inclusive and equal environment.
