Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The Vacation Scheme was amazing. My day normally started with a presentation on a practice area that the firm has. After that I would have various tasks to complete for my supervisor on the particular seat that I chose to sit in. We would also get insight into the SQE exam and we had various virtual socials. All in all, it was excellent.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

I understood everything the firm had on offer. The demonstrations, which took place via presentations, were extremely useful and informative.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learned a vast amount of new skills on the vacation scheme. My ability to write legal summaries/legal memos has been developed greatly. My attention to detail has also greatly improved.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was amazing. They are so welcoming and instantly put you at ease. This was the best part in my opinion. You are valued for your uniqueness.
