Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Insight was very hands-on and practical with many interactive sessions such as asset management simulations and trading games. Insight sessions on the different teams at BNPP were very intriguing and exciting.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was very exciting, everybody that presented was very passionate about their role. This meant that every session was insightful and engaging

I have learnt how to create good bid/ask spreads when trading. I learnt how to forecast prices and understand macro factors that can impact financial products.

The culture was very welcoming and accepting. Everybody at the spring week got along well with each other and the employees were always happy to spend time with you

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BNP Paribas

Please apply you will not regret it! Research what goes in global banking and markets seeing as some things are different than other banks. For example dcm sits in markets instead of banking
