Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the first steps programme we were introduced to the culture, values and ethos of the company.
We also heard from a variety of legal professions across several areas of law, giving an insight into their work, daily tasks, and the roles that trainees in their departments are given.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was extremely insightful to hear about the vast number of opportunity’s available across the entire company, and confirmed that Fieldfisher is most definitely an appealing working environment to me.
I Gained a deeper understanding of what particular areas of law entail, and a result I am more confident in which optional modules I would like to study next semester (in particular medical negligence )

On day two of the programme we were tasked with crafting and delivering a pitch on the topic of the first steps programme.
This allowed me to develop my skills presenting ideas, whilst simultaneously allowing me to put into practice team working skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
A really positive atmosphere. The notion that the company is centred around people is extremely evident. This was made especially clear when speaking to the current trainees that spoke extremely highly of the firm.
