Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
First day was an introduction to Jefferies and Investment Banking through various panels delving into the culture and diversity at Jefferies alongside a skills session on how to increase commercial awareness.
Second day was filled with case studies on previous Jefferies transactions in M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance. At the end of the day we had a skills session on pitches.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very easy to understand, the presentations were clear with good visuals to illustrate certain avenues of progression.

Developed my modelling skills through an AmplifyMe IPO simulation. Enhanced pitching skills through the skills session on the second day.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very diverse and inclusive. Graduate spotlights highlighted the importance Jefferies places on new analysts/graduates speaking up and sharing their ideas. The main takeaway for Jefferies culture is that if you have a good idea no matter how experienced you are it will be used so no hard-work and effort is wasted.
