Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Absorbing information that can hopefully mold your future career. Really interesting and insightful information given about what it is like to work at the business and why everyone loves working there. It exhibits the passion that all the workers have and what we graduates will need if we want to succeed. We also did group work to help us network slightly more. I really enjoyed the briefings and knowing exactly what would happen. The Hosts did an incredible job.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I finally am able to say what I want to do in my future. I now know that I want to be a graduate at Savills on a rotation and working towards RICS but I have also found out I really want to be part of the development team. I feel that there are lots of really exciting opportunities for graduates every year and they are very open to bringing in the best talent from all around.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Yes, I would say I have. I have always had a passion for Real Estate but I would say this course has made me even more determined to get a job with the company in the future and to be the best worker I can be too. I have learned a lot about the mindset of a worker in the business as well as gaining insight into the market. The skills and confidence to talk in front of my peers has been enhanced too.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
As it was online I still got a great feel for what it is like for the workers at Savills and the way they all talk about the office leads you to believe that the atmosphere is really focused and work-driven which inspired me to want to be apart of this Team. It sounds like everyone really enjoys what they do and most people are placed correctly. I think that it would brilliant to work there and have the culture that Savills does.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed this insight and so much so that I hope I am able to secure a summer internship in my next year at university. I would really like to do more with Savills and I really want to work in this industry. I really love doing real estate and want to be part of the best businesses like this one. I would really wish that this was in real life so I could experience it properly.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would say, Be confident without being cocky and make sure you are participating as much as you can. Be a leader and be someone everyone feels comfortable talking with regardless of where you sit. I think that saying how and what you feel is quite respected here and you should never be shy of scared to share your opinions, and if you did I don't think many people would make you feel bad about It.
