My role involved applying for funding from various trusts. Involved doing online applications and replying to any queries.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of responsibility and left to do my work. I was trusted with he tasks and was not micromanaged.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Before the internship started, there was good advice from the University about skills like communication and how to effectively work with our assigned company/charity. However once the internship started there was very little communication from the charity, which made it very difficult to work. This lead to often having to think of what I could do next as there was no set plan of what I was expected to do.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was a pleasant atmosphere with them being supportive, however it would be better if there was more management.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I would of enjoyed the internship much more is there was more for me to do, with tasks being set out for me to do. Communication between myself and the manager was difficult as it took a while for my emails to be responded to.
