Very varied: mapping, serving notice, attending pre entry meetings, conducting records of condition.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

It is difficult due to being there for such a limited time. By the third month of my placement I had far more responsibility compared to the start.

I have built on my knowledge from my university course. I understand the statutory powers far better having seen in practise how they are enforced and used.

All of the team were very helpful at answering all of my questions - very friendly team at Market Harborough.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone is very driven and hard working which is really motivating. The team is quite young which means that there are lots of socials and events to get involved in which have been really fun and a good way to get to know everyone.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Yes, whilst infrastructure wasn't something I had seen myself working in I have surprised myself and enjoyed the work. The work i was doing was interesting and I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and supportive team.
