Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I rotated into 2 departments in my internship, one was analytics, and the other sales. During analytics there were mainly classes to have an understanding of the market and the different market players, while sale was about client interaction and update them on new functionalities.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, since from the second week of the internship we were responsible of talking to clients with many years of experience, we had to handle the conversation, updating them on the new offering, booking meetings and try to solve their problems.

I have became more self aware of my skills, I have discovered that I am a fast learner and an active listener, I improved my public speaking, the interpersonal skills and how to handle uncertainties.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
The internship was really well structured and developed. There were no moments in which we did not know what to do, everyone was always ready to help and give and advice. We were followed but at the same time we had in some occasions to come up with something on our own, but this was useful to grow.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is unique, everyone is really open ready to help and have a coffee chat, to provide advice. In Bloomberg if you are curious you can really learn what you want.
