Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Two days of the week was spent with Sales team where we completed proactive and reactive interactions with clients. The other two days were spent on receiving terminal trainings. The last remaining day was mostly dedicated on making campaign calls to clients to share the enhancements that Bloomberg has made.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
We as an intern were provided with four main projects where we could demonstrate different skillsets and knowledge we had. We had numerous opportunities to extend our impact throughout the 10 weeks regardless of the department we were in.

Reaching out for support was one of the easiest things done as I had five supports from the beginning: two mentors and two managers for each Analytics and Sales team and an intern connector.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Truly enjoyed the balanced exposure to every aspect of the Bloomberg community: Diversity and Inclusion communities, philanthropic activities, and numerous networking opportunities. I have not only developed my skills, but also improved my knowledge of finance and the overall market.
