Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The internship involved a good split between Analytics and Sales, where we were really able to apply what we learnt in our training sessions onto the Sales work when interacting with clients. We also had to complete numerous group projects that exposed us to the wide range of the Terminal's usability.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, we were given the opportunity to directly interact with clients from the first week, and also participate in client meetings.
Taking ownership of our group projects also provided a strong sense of responsibility.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Received great guidance and support throughout the internship. I had 1-2-1 catch ups with my mentors and managers every week, and also felt very comfortable reaching out to them at any time no matter how small the question was. We were always also guided by HR with very clear instructions.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture of Bloomberg is one of the best aspects, as everyone was always willing to have a chat with us no matter what department they were in. In addition, there were many opportunities to take part in philanthropic events, which really showed the giving back culture of the company.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed this internship, because I felt like it really provided me with the opportunity to grow both personally and in terms of knowledge as well. The opportunity to talk with senior leaders, and participate in many networking events portrayed how much effort has been put into this internship, which I really appreciated.
