Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Help develop and update enterprise products, my team was ETOMS and BTCA. I also pitched functions to clients

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was, I was providing data analysis from other teams and was collaborating with higher roles frequently. I also talked to clients over the phone very frequently and went on in-person client visits occasionally

I have learnt to code in python and gained knowledge about the terminal and finance in general. I also developed public speaking, teamwork, and time management skills

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

A lot, I had 3 mentors whose job was to help me with any challenges I faced. I also had 1 connector whose job was to give me exposure to other parts of the company. Moreover my managers were always supportive, insightful and very willing to give feedback

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The best I have ever seen, people are very approachable and the company supports philantropies and volunteering. There's a very flat structure (no hierarchy) and I felt very supported and appreciated throughout the whole internship
