Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The role is divided between Analytics and Sales days. In sales, we reach out to clients to pitch functions of the Terminal and in Analytics, we do trainings on different asset classes and financial market players.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes. We worked on 4 different projects and were able to shadow Sales people in their client meetings. We had to reach out to clients to pitch enhancements on the Terminal and book meetings with their Account Managers

What advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg
Be ready to network with people in the company. Be ready to get involved in the different projects (4 projects in 10 weeks). Be ready to step out of your comfort zone especially if you're an introvert. And don't worry of you don't know about financial markets, you will learn on the job. Good luck!
