Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
2 days in Analytics. Includes in-depth training of various asset classes and Bloomberg's solutions to this e.g. equities, fixed income, derivatives etc... Additional exams and phantoms to test knowledge. Project work
3 days in Sales. Includes client meetings, calling clients for a variety of reasons, seminars and teaching workshops. Project work
Shadowing sessions, networking opportunities and 1-1s across both days

A lot of manageable responsibility. Very much trusted and not micromanaged - had 4 projects

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Breadth of financial knowledge increased. Deeper development of tech skills such as AI and coding with python. Other quantitative and analytical skills developed especially using Excel and worksheets.
Soft skills like leadership, and collaboration also developed via networking opportunities. Teaching and communication greatly improved due to client interactions
