Preparing planning appraisals, undertaking research and analysis, preparing planning applications, contribute to the preparation/editing of Design and Access Statements, Sustainability Statements and other planning documents. Team meetings. Colleague talks.

I was given a good amount of responsibility during my internship and this has been very valuable to use in the real world.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I absolutely enjoyed my internship, in regards to the types of work, the staff, the social opportunities and the work ethic. Special shout out to the Edinburgh and Perth Savills offices.

What advice would you give to others applying to Savills
I would have a good read of all the types of work available from Savills and try to network with current employees ask them questions, develop an interest early on. Brush up on Microsoft skills, specifically excel, etc.
