Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My job involved working on a project that had been given to me by my manager. This included researching the problem, talking to other members of the team to find solutions and then implementing the solution.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I had full access to the codebases for my team and was able to make modifications after confirming them with another member of the team. My project was also quite important for helping to improve team processes.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support from my line manager. We had weekly 1-1 meetings to catch up on my progress and to receive any feedback so far, which I found very helpful.
