It really depends on the stream you are in.
I did structured trading so it’s long term based projects and could just be to adjust according to client needs and to discuss with various stakeholders

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I mean interns on the trading floor can’t have too many responsibilities as there are policies and restrictions around. But overall we do have loads things to keep you busy
