Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working as a digital marketing assistant, within the British Gas Energy team. Overall this role was mainly remote with a few days in our marketing and media agencies based in London. The main Centrica office was based in Windsor and as an intern cohort, we were in this office 3 weeks (or more depending on your role and location). I worked with my manager and he set me tasks such as coordinating our partnership with our external marketing agency, promoting the summer Olympics. Various other tasks included competitor analysis and generating ideas for the upcoming Black Friday.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Significant amount of responsibility was given during my internship, in particular in terms of managing social posts for one of British Gas's partnerships.

I enjoyed my internship a lot, I got the chance to participate in a variety of different activities, and also travel and live part-time in Windsor.
