Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Taking on work surrounding clients in for employees BW Investment and Actuarial roles. This involved initial training into BW systems and excel, then progressed onto doing client work. This mainly involved the use of excel and research skills.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
There was a lot of responsibility given regarding managing workload and completing jobs. However, this is within the framework of having mentors and many people to turn to if help is needed.

There was a lot of guidance- mentors and supervisors for each student. Alongside this, the rest of BW was very welcoming.

Everyone is extremely friendly and kind. People knew my name and made note to have conversations to welcome me, even at lunch.
