Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The role varies day to day as you get involved in different areas of the business such as investment consulting where you produce investment monitoring reports, statement of investment principles, implementation statements also Actuarial consulting where you calculate Cash equivalent transfers value, Trivial commutation, drafting reports. these are some of the main tasks
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes from the beginning you are given a lot of responsibility and made to feel like a member of the team but tagging along to client meetings and being given stimulating work that any member of the team would do

during the duration of my internship, there were 4 mentors that had also followed the internship route who helped guide us through out as well the whole team who would always answer questions and encourage questions to be asked

It was a great opportunity and i learnt so much from just being part of team and asking questions, there were also a socials like the netball and football tournament , the partners BBQ, the interns got to plan a social
