Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role includes working with my allocated team and doing my best to complete the tasks assigned to the best of my ability. I also (not specifically required by my role) try and meet as many people in the business as possible by organising meeting day-to-day to discuss future possibilities at Savills and more about their role within the organisation.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given responsibility. As part of a task assigned by my team, I completed most of a consultancy report myself (subject to alteration of course) which I was responsible to ensure was detailed, relevant and coherent.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learnt a lot about about Property as whole. I had a good basic understanding but my time at Savills has definitely developed this understanding much further. Through my conversations with many different teams I have developed a good general understanding of different areas of Property.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
HR were always reachable through email which was very helpful. There was also many departmental overviews that greatly helped my understanding of different departments in Savills. There were also organised networking events that aided in meeting other people in the business, which in property especially, is very important.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I really enjoyed the company culture and general atmosphere. Everyone that I met and interacted with in the office space was friendly, welcoming and chatty which is a very nice working environment to be part of. It also means you feel comfortable and I would guess improves efficiency rates as well.
