Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Introduction to firm, strong focus onn the firm's values and future plans. Sent into our respective departments and given typical trainee taks. An amazing insight into the team and the role of a junior lawyer. Frequent catch ups from supervisor who could not have been more helpful.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The information provided was incredibly valuable. They started form the very basics and ran us through all the roles available in the firm. Information about the training process was very helpful and they guided us through the next steps very well.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
A lot of new skills. Heavily developed my networking skills and commercial awareness. Also general office etiquette, the importance of understanding position of intern and asking frequent questions to ensure high quality and efficient work.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was highly enjoyable. The inclusive and welcoming culture is what drew me into applying in the first place and having now completed the scheme I can confirm it is exactly how they say. Everyone, even interns, are made to feel important and like their work is valuable to the business. Serious work but a relaxed attitude which works very well to get the best out of everyone.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Massively enjoyed. The scheme could not have been more insightful regarding general firm culture and vision, the trainee role and the different departments within the firm.
