Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Speaking to clients over the phone, doing viewings with/for clients on commercial spaces. Negotiating deal terms. Searching for properties for clients to review.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - towards the beginning of the placement all your work is very closely overseen/monitored, however as you develop skills and relationships with clients you get a lot more responsibility.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my communication skills a lot by speaking over the phone to other agents and/or clients. I have also done this through meetings, whether this be in person of over Teams.
I have also developed skills on Excel as it's used daily to make interest schedules or do Deval a property. I have developed skills in other databases unique to the role too.

A lot - there is various points of contact within my team who I can go to when I need help/support. This ranges from grads, PA's and directors.

The company culture is very positive - every team member is very friendly and makes an effort. The atmosphere is very positive and social too, there are lots of team events

What advice would you give to others applying to Savills
Be very confident and friendly throughout the application process - specifically during the assessment centre and interview. They are looking for someone they would enjoy working for a year just as much as someone who is qualified!
