Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day experience involved time with the trainers where they explained basics of their work and allotted simple tasks to us. Apart from that, we attended scheduled sessions about different practice areas of the firm along with other interesting groups like Fuse and DEI groups. We also scheduled coffee chats independently with people at the firm we were interested in getting to know more.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was good to know the breadth of options available. It equips you with all necessary knowledge before you finalize an option.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have become more adept at socializing and networking given the ample opportunity that the firm provides. Moreover, work-wise too I got to learn a lot more in-depth about the team I was sat in.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very warm and friendly. Everyone at the firm was very approachable and happy to talk. My team was especially sweet. Both my trainers took the time to explain everything to me and then discuss the tasks assigned as well. Generally, I left the vacation scheme with a very positive feeling about the firm.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed it a lot! Since it is for two weeks, it does not feel too long. We had ample social events and work time to balance the both.
