City Agency / Office Disposals Review

Daily tasks involved:
- Updating interest schedules on office space.... this involved calling to gather information and updates from potential lessees / clients.
- Organising and attending viewings on office space
- Attending both internal and external property launches (office space that is newly coming on to the market)
- Meetings both in person and online with clients / potential lessees / other agents
- Networking with agents from other companies (JLL, CBRE, Etc.)
- Shadowing on deals from early viewing to the negotiations phase and drafting heads of terms to exchange of contracts.

Savills have been very successful is providing adequate exposure to a vast range of potential roles available through presentations and networking opportunities with individuals within the company from graduates to directors, offering valuable insight into the roles and graduate scheme processes and opportunities.

This role is very communications heavy and thus has strongly contributed to developing my confidence in networking and public speaking, whilst also developing technical knowledge surrounding transactional processes and formalities such as requirements, disposals, negotiations, heads of terms etc.

The opportunity to gain exposure to a role within a company like Savills has been invaluable, assisting greatly in my exposure to the range of roles and opportunities a career in real estate can offer. Further more I found that my assignment to the City Agency department was extremely suited to my personal attributes and despite a limited knowledge / exposure to agency prior to the programme, coming out I have been greatly inspired and motivated by this opportunity and the potential to peruse a graduate scheme at Savills in the future.
