Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working independently an as part of a team to undertake a year long research project under the supervision of the Materials Engineering team.
You are allowed to take the research in your own direction and determine conclusions of your results

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

It was my responsibility to drive the progress of my project and connect with other team members to reach a conclusion. So the responsibility of my project and the way it was progressing was down to me

I really enjoyed my placement. I had the opportunity to meet and work with many new people (people in the team and other placement students) and work on projects that may contribute to products in the future
