Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The role involved being assigned a variety of tasks by team members often involving organisational tasks to help the team increase their knowledge on the residential developments around the UK. This includes research into residential developments in specific counties, creating developer lists for easier access for the team, calls to local estate agents asking for updates on the market etc.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Some but not a lot, got given some non urgent tasks allowing flexibility and time to ask questions on specific tasks.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Improved on my conversational skills, building up confidence to speak to team members, organisational skills including preferred formatting and layouts of documents, Increased knowledge on how to use excel effectively, improved on time management skills.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I loved my placement. It provided a great insight onto what a future career could look like in the industry and my favourite part was definitely how friendly everyone was.
