Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Supporting global innovation projects across Dove, Rexona and Axe. This included joining weekly core team meetings and meeting project milestones.

Yes, I was responsible for a few individual projects to serve the business strategy as well as my active involvement in supporting innovation projects across the business.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed the variety of tasks I was responsible for on a daily basis. I also enjoyed networking with colleagues all over the world as part of my day to day tasks. I was comfortable with the responsibility required for my work and this helped me to add value to the business successfully.

What advice would you give to others applying to Unilever

Make sure to communicate well and be confident in discussions - will be a big part of the role. There is a strong emphasis on data analysis which is a great skill to develop over the year.
