Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Implement lean manufacturing tools that are going to have a positive impact on production. Then measuring there performance against the 'AOS' (Airbus Operating Systems - Airbus' term for lean management) using the 'domains' and 'bricks' that make up the AOS matrix.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes!
I held a lot of responsibility; responsibility to run and lead meetings with key stakeholders. As well as, running projects with a date of completion, although a lot of support is/was there when I needed it, I was the one responsible for the project.

Support was no issue, my team that I was part of would provide endless amount of support and dedicated a lot of there free time to myself even when they had there own projects and responsibility to deliver on.
